"Bug juice comes from who you are!" Ugh, anyone else remember the show Bug Juice?! I'm pretty sure I still have it recorded on a VHS in my parents' attic somewhere. Sadly, today's post is not about Bug Juice-- although if you know why Eve left camp, please let me know because thirteen year-old Becca is still … Continue reading Bug Juice, it doesn’t come in a jar…
As you all know, I started my new job this week. As such, I have had minimal time/ no brain power to write this week. Luckily, I was featured on a guest post over at Wed in Central Park! Click on over there to check out five things I loved about my wedding.
The series is so cute. I really enjoyed reading what details other brides loved about their wedding. What’s that saying? “Sometimes it’s the smallest things that take up the biggest space in our hearts,” or something like that. I think this series perfectly captures that.

This series is intended to provide some inspiration for couples who are currently planning their wedding. Many couples have a big vision of what they want on the day, but this series is about the details. Most of the weddings discussed in this series will have taken place in Central Park, but some weddings from other locations will be featured. This wedding took place on a beach, which I think is what a lot of people think of when someone says “destination wedding”. Becca married Steve on a beach in the Riveria Maya in Mexico in July of last year. Becca blogs at The Married Cat Lady, but dog lovers like myself will be happy to…

Back in February I wrote a post about a letter 13 year-old me wrote to 18 year-old me. It's been one of my favorite posts that I've written, and since I wrote it I've wanted to write a letter back to 13 year-old me. Then my friend Christine wrote a similar post-- which was fabulous, go … Continue reading To Be Opened April 16, 2002
Steve kept texting me, too. Katy thinks he might actually like me, perhaps more than just shenanigans, and I think she might be right. “Oh most definitely you are [a nerd], but it’s attractive.” “I’m always hanging on your every word.” He’s sweet... When we last discussed the Timeline of Lurrvee, I told you the … Continue reading The Timeline of Lurrvee: Part Deux
My husband, Steve, is no stranger to the goings on at the Married Cat Lady. He’s often referenced in both ramblings and wake up calls. He’s also the best editor and reader I have. I decided that in honor of Valentine’s Day this week, I would tell the story of our lurrvee (or at least … Continue reading The Timeline of Lurrvee: Ridge Fest Rendezvous
