Good morning! Welcome to another edition of the wake up call, and another week of your life. Who had a good weekend? I spent Saturday celebrating love at my friend Katelyn's wedding with all my girlfriends. There are few things in life better than celebrating, singing, and dancing with these amazing women. Well, that and … Continue reading Wake Up Call #41
As you all know, I started my new job this week. As such, I have had minimal time/ no brain power to write this week. Luckily, I was featured on a guest post over at Wed in Central Park! Click on over there to check out five things I loved about my wedding.

This series is intended to provide some inspiration for couples who are currently planning their wedding. Many couples have a big vision of what they want on the day, but this series is about the details. Most of the weddings discussed in this series will have taken place in Central Park, but some weddings from other locations will be featured. The Timeline of Lurrvee is back! Check out 1, 2, or 3 if you missed them! It didn't take long for me to realize Steve was the one. As many of you know, my husband and I recently returned from vacation; we were in Ireland visiting family, and we took a short side trip to London. Now, I could go on and on about what we did each day, but I don't think you're that interested. Instead, I'm just going to tell you … Continue reading London, Baby!

I mentioned on Monday that I was in Madison, Wisconsin over the weekend with some of my favorite humans. Those humans were my girlfriends, and we were on our annual girls' trip. Rachel, Katy, and I drove up together Friday afternoon. We chatted, ate some snacks, and I spilled water all over myself when Katy … Continue reading We don’t need more friends!*
Back in February I wrote a post about a letter 13 year-old me wrote to 18 year-old me. It's been one of my favorite posts that I've written, and since I wrote it I've wanted to write a letter back to 13 year-old me. Then my friend Christine wrote a similar post-- which was fabulous, go … Continue reading To Be Opened April 16, 2002
We are back for some more lurrvee story-telling. If you have no idea what I'm talking about you can see Part 1 HERE and Part Deux HERE. Steve kept texting me, too. Katy thinks he might actually like me, perhaps more than just shenanigans, and I think she might be right. “Oh most definitely you are [a nerd], but it’s attractive.” “I’m always hanging on your every word.” He’s sweet... When we last discussed the Timeline of Lurrvee, I told you the … Continue reading The Timeline of Lurrvee: Part Deux

If you want something that holds any sort of value, read my fiction piece called "The Pity Party" or … Continue reading Just rambling…
