Have you ever had a job that totally and completely changed your life? No, I'm not talking about pursuing your passion, or changing the world, or even making a bunch of money. I mean a minimum-wage job, without which, you wouldn't be the person you are today? I have. I was a day camp counselor … Continue reading Cinderella’s Glass Slipper and Other Weird Games I Played at Work
The hubs and I hosted our third annual Christmas party this weekend, Miracle on Madison!* Why is it called Miracle on Madison? It's not only because of our street name, but also because-- fun fact about me-- I am in the 90's version of the movie Miracle on 34th Street! Well, a picture of me is … Continue reading Miracle on Madison
Good morning! Welcome to another edition of the wake up call, and another week of your life. Who had a good weekend? I spent Saturday celebrating love at my friend Katelyn's wedding with all my girlfriends. There are few things in life better than celebrating, singing, and dancing with these amazing women. Well, that and … Continue reading Wake Up Call #41
As you all know, I started my new job this week. As such, I have had minimal time/ no brain power to write this week. Luckily, I was featured on a guest post over at Wed in Central Park! Click on over there to check out five things I loved about my wedding.

As many of you know, my husband and I recently returned from vacation; we were in Ireland visiting family, and we took a short side trip to London. Now, I could go on and on about what we did each day, but I don't think you're that interested. Instead, I'm just going to tell you … Continue reading London, Baby!

I mentioned on Monday that I was in Madison, Wisconsin over the weekend with some of my favorite humans. Those humans were my girlfriends, and we were on our annual girls' trip. Back in February I wrote a post about a letter 13 year-old me wrote to 18 year-old me. It's been one of my favorite posts that I've written, and since I wrote it I've wanted to write a letter back to 13 year-old me. Then my friend Christine wrote a similar post-- which was fabulous, go … Continue reading To Be Opened April 16, 2002
